Sora assumed he was being raken to the balcony because Noctis’ didn’t want to be alone while he smoked. He watched with wide eyes as the other threw the pack a considerable distance. He felt himself smiling as he watched the seagulls peck at them, “You just got a bunch of birds addicted to nicotine..” He said giggling.

Sora grinned and wrapped his arm around Noctis’ shoulders, “Your a moody git anyway, so I think I’ll be able to manage” He mumbled before he was pulled into a kiss.

“I’m proud of you. I know its scary but you have to make the best of a bad situation!” He paused and realised what he’d said, “Not that this is a bad situation! This is a great situation! But.. Aaah.. Ignore me..”

Noctis couldn’t help but laugh. “Gee sora, you really know how to help a guy” he teased and kissed him again, speaking close to his mouth. “You don’t need to explain princess” he kissed his nose, smiling. “Now.. ” he sighed pulling away from Sora.

“I guess we better go down and wait for the doctor” Noctis’ initial reaction was to add ‘but first I’ll go out to smoke’ he didn’t, and held back as he realised. One - He promised Sora he wouldn’t, and Two - The seagulls had just had them for lunch.

They strolled down to the entrance of the castle, by the time they got there they only had to wait a couple of minutes for the doctor to arrive. When he did the prince greeted him with a warm genuine smile and a hug.

“Sora, this is Doctor Todd. We go far back, so if you stay here he’ll be your doctor too” he said with a smile, the doctor seemed to understand but Noctis failed to realise, his father was yet to find out and approve.
