A small smile cropped up on his face as she spoke. “Yes, do you know this area well?” he sounded rather pleased with himself, he really did want to make up for his actions earlier. He liked her, but it wasn’t fair to bombard her like that.
Taking a moment to look around, she eventually shook her head. “I do not. I never left the castle walls… so this is the first time I have seen the world beyond them.” Did she sound naive? When she had been human, it hadn’t been her priviledge to leave the castle grounds, so the most she knew of the outside world was of what she had read in books.
“That’s perfectly understandable” He nodded. “You never had much reason to leave the kingdom, right?” he smiled sympatheticlly at her. “let’s find somewhere that looks comfy, hope you’re not too hungry? Might be a while till I can teleport. Can only go so far y'know.. I’d teleport everywhere otherwise” he laughed softly, looking over at her facial features.
