“You come to my kingdom.. and you just..” he sighed, still in pain. He understood what it was like to be running away from things and panicking, though he’d never hurt an innocent because of it..”

His face softened slightly as he allowed his sword to disappear, still in agony.

“I can treat your wound”, Hope said quietly, almost with a whisper. “I never intended to hurt you. Please, forgive me.”

He started to lower his arms from the top of his head. He bit his lip as he watched the other, not really knowing what else to do, still afraid of getting himself killed. His look was pleading, mixed with fear and regret, he never even wanted to hurt anyone.

He looked away from the boy as he nodded, allowing him to come close to check his wound, wincing in pain as he did.

“hmm..” was all he said as a reply. He was on the verge of forgiving him but he wasn’t that easy to win over.
