_{Noctis couldn’t help but feel slightly embarrassed at his comment. It was completely different to the outside world, everyday life. He worried Roxas wouldn’t settle in, wouldn’t get used to it. He hoped it would be okay however.}

_{“Really? I don’t pay much attention” he said bringing himself back from his thoughts. “It’s quite over done tonight..” he said trying to reassure the boy it wasn’t always this fancy, even though it was.}

_{“And hey.. father seemed to like you, don’t worry your cute self.” He quickly kissed roxas on the head whilst no one was looking.}

Roxas playfully glared at the other. “I don’t want to be kicked out because of you so you gotta hold yourself back tonight.” He smirked. “Even if I get drunk and start hitting on you heaps” 

Roxas knew he was going to do it so he might as well enjoy it. It wasn’t every day he got to hit on a prince and get away with it anyway. 

He began to load up a plate with food. “So what do we do here anyway? Just eat and get drunk?” 

_{“Pretty much” he chuckled}

_{“Though don’t get too drunk, not yet, we’ve still got that waltz remember” he winked and scuffed the blondes hair slightly.}

_{“I wouldn’t worry about staying off me for much longer, soon no one will notice, everyone will be confessing to one another.. Normally I just stand back and watch but something tells me this will be different” a sly smile cropped on his face as he poured himself an alcoholic beverage.}
