Once upon a time ~ a fairytale for iworethisforyou.

Once upon a time, in a land far far away, there lived a handsome prince called Noctis.
He was the heir to Caelum, but was deemed irresponsible. The prince was always getting into trouble, his father worried greatly for him, for he, one day would be in charge of the kingdom.

His father decided to get him a bodyguard, who, unknown to the prince was also devilishly handsome.

At first Noctis treated Yuj, the bodyguard as if he weren’t there. He refused to be watched or have a babysitter. He believed at 21 he could do what he liked.

Over time the prince grew found of the blue haired guard, becoming good friends even though Noctis had a soft spot for him, which he could never admit. Unfortunately for the prince he was gay. He never openly told anyone and it often bothered him as he wished for nothing more than to tell Yuj, he cared for him.

One day, Noctis was getting cocky with his training and decided to practise in his bedroom. Unknown to him he managed to set a different room on fire, his powers had odd abilities.

He opened his bedroom door to join his father for supper, but to his dismay the corridor was on fire, wood collapsed infront of him. He could probably have made it but losing his mother to flames also he didn’t want to face it. Shutting his bedroom door he started to panic. He tried using his teleportation skills, but dye to his stress he couldn’t.

Looking out the window he assumed he could jump, but at second glance realised it was too high.

“Help! Help! Hey can anyone hear me?” Noctis panicked assuming that he was done for.

Thankfully Yuj was nearby, he heard the princes cries, although the entire castle was being evicted it was his job to protect the prince, putting his life before his own to save him and protect the kingdom.

The heat began to effect Yuj’s breathing, but he eventually found the burning room of the prince. Noctis had passed out due to heat.

Yuj struggled but managed to lift the prince from under the rusted debris, carrying him over his shoulder to exit the castle.

Noctis soon awoke to find Yuj cradling him. He explained what happened and before he could hesitate he kissed the blue haired male.

“You’re my knight in shining armour” he teased.

Noctis’ father thanked Yuj for his bravery and granted him what one may refer to as a wish.

His response shocked everyone as he asked for Noctis’s hand in marriage, and of course the prince said yes, pulling him into another embrace. The king grumbled but was glad to have his only son alive.
Soon after they were married and..

Lived happily ever after.
