He laughed. “No.. That’s not it.. I don’t know why, it just.. It suits you, can’t really think why princess” he winked and watched the brunet reach for the book.
“There’s a step ladder you know? Careful now princess, wouldn’t want you breaking a finger nail” the…
“Hmm, damsel in distress” he chuckled at the thought then sighed perhaps a little too loudly glancing at the brunet’s choice of book.
“Good choice” the prince had read or glanced through almost every single book in the library, he could tell sora had good taste, was a genuine reader as opposed to those who look at the ‘pretty’ front covers.
“You weren’t supposed to hear that, I was talking to myself. What I mean is… My life is.. Well.. It’s not how I’d like it to be” he shifted himself slightly before carrying on.
“I’m not free, hardly ever. I only managed to get out today because I told my father it was urgently needed, that book from the library” he nodded once at the boy in a 'you know what I mean’ sense. He debated continuing, he didnt want to look completely weak infront of the brunet.
“I’ve got a judgemental father who shuns my sexuality as nothing more than a phase, not being allowed to marry a male because I can’t reproduce for the fucking throne” he started getting a little angry, but sora already said they were friends and friend spoke about these things.
“I’m allowed people to visit but yet I can’t go out, father just wants to protect me… The citizens of the city fear me. I like to be somewhat intimidating, just so they know where they stand, but the rumours are horrible” he shook his head.
“Sorry, I mean.. Any other books you want to look for?” He tried to muster a genuine smile.
