Axel returned the smile with a short nod.

“That’s always good.”

He blinked a bit. “I do odd jobs, things like mowing lawns and such, when people ask. It seems that no one wants to employ me for a real job, either that or I look in the wrong places.” He chuckled in good nature. “I manage to get by, though.”

He thought to offer him a job, regardless of if it was a bit out there.
“There’s jobs going at the castle…” He started slowly.
“There’s also a room for you to stay in..” He cringed that he was offering his date a job.
“Sorry, I just.. ” his face fell a deep red, hoping the waitress would hurry.

Axel was taken aback slightly. Well, that was odd.
“Ah, it’s fine. I’m not sure if I would be cut out for a job in a castle anyway.” He chuckled nervously. “Wouldn’t wanna mess anything up.” He smiled at the other, teasing him ever so slightly. “Just met me and offering me a job?” He chuckled, trying to lighten up the situation. “It’s fine, don’t be embarrassed.”

The waitress soon arrived, luckily.

“Right, of course” he started to feel awkward. The prince hadnt been like it in a long time, he couldn’t take his eyes off of the red head and he sincerely hoped the male didnt find him boring.
“Ahh, I’ll have the steak, medium rate, caesar dressing on the side” he smiled at the waitress, picked up his glass and sipped again.
“Is there anything else you’d like to know?” He wanted to get to know the male which was weird, most dates didnt work out.
