The prince was focused on the table itself when he heard footsteps, looking up he saw a red haired male approaching the pre booked table. 

He could feel his palms getting mildly sweaty as he stood to greet the male. He was pleasantly surprised by the male Prompto had set him up with, he was sure it was going to be some crazy obsessed freak, though, looks can be deceiving..

“I’m-I’m guessing you’re my date then?” He spoke to the red head with a shy tone. 

Now looking at a full portrait of the male, he subtly glanced at him, checking him out for any ‘potential’ 

Axel looked up when he was spoken to, leaving his tie be for the moment.

He smiled at the other, nodding a bit. “I suppose so.” A confidence rang through his voice, one that he’d acquired through many previous failures.

Well, well, well. Roxas seemed to have made a good choice, but things could change.

“It’s kind of cheesy, but my friend bought me these flowers to give to my date so..” he laughed awkwardly handing him the flowers, brushing past his arm as he did.

Feeling his cheeks warm he decided to introduce himself. “Noctis” he said with a smile, his hands back in his trouser pockets.

The prince felt uncomfortable. Not because he didn’t know the red head who he decided in that moment was rather attractive, but because he was on a date with the red head.
