“I know how that feels. got the whole city always doubting me” he sighed, pulling away from their embrace. “Should anything happen to father, I’d be in next charge and heck, I don’t even know how to put my socks on in the morning” he half laughed “let alone run an entire kingdom.”
hmm, maybe we have more in common than I thought..
The prince laughed at first, assuming he was joking, then realising he was serious, his face dropped, not that the other prince could see..
“Are you.. serious?”
“Completely. I’ve been kept a secret from the Britannian citizens…Only my siblings and the Knights of the Round know of me…give or take a few servants.”
He hung his head a little, just thinking about it. “Honestly, I haven’t had the need for anyone to show me around in a long time…I have the layout of my home memorized perfectly. Down to every last detail…”
“I.. That’s.. ”
Words couldn’t form, he didn’t know what to say to comfort the boy. He assumed that meeting his father and him would be a complete bore, that he’d be stuck with some arrogant ass hole, much like how he could be. Yet, he felt a lot of sympathy for the boy.
“Maybe.. If It’s okay.. with your father.. ” He paused, thinking of how to word himself.
“You could… come visit our castle.. I know you can’t see, but I certainly won’t let others ignore you.. and your father shouldn’t hide you either, that’s disgraceful”
Noctis couldn’t imagine being in that position, if his father shunned him to one side..
