The prince left the audience chamber as if changing peoples lives and giving them jobs meant nothing. It never did to Noctis, they only served him, fed him and did all the things a typical twenty one year old wouldn’t want to do. Forming friendships or romances with any of his staff had rarely occurred.
The few servants he did get along with eventually moved on to different things and his only romance with his ex butler had been short lived, he was abusive and destroyed any inch of confidence the prince had left. He certainly wasn’t in a rush to go back down that path or let anyone in close to him or his life. No one.
The prince escorted himself to his chambers, glad to be done with staff for the day.
His smart shoes clapped against the floor creating friction on the metallic coloured marble floors, the gothic castle was that of a confusing blueprint, and his experiences with the place was close to zero, he was given a map, but following it was hard, so he wrote little nonsenses on the places written on the map, jerking his memory. His eyes then shifted, where the hell was the prince’s chamber.
He knocked on the door of the softly, “Hello.” He cooed softly, pressing his hand on the door handle, waiting for allowance to open the door.
The prince was in his room, sitting on the bed, his back to the rest, reading his book as he heard a knock.
staff lost already.. pfft.
“Come in...” he looked up from his book to see a silver haired male appear. “Can I help you?” he added in his flat tone.
Huh for once, a half decent looking member of staff. The prince often found his eyes wandering over other staff as he never really left the castle. He continued to glare at the male as he waited for an answer.
