Reno pulled posters down from the wall over what used to be the spare bed in the room, setting them up on his wall instead. He had been lucky enough to get a dorm room for himself, but now he was being saddled with a roommate. He was not pleased with the sudden change in plans, but he didn’t have much say in the matter and so he was cleaning his chaotic mess of a room to make space for the new student who would be  sharing the far too small space.

Once the room was cleaned up, Reno propped his guitar onto his lap and began playing, waiting for the knock that would signal the arrival of a person who could either make or break his college experience. He really didn’t want to end up with a roommate for an enemy, so he was going to do his best to play nicely with the fresh meat being tossed into his room.

“two hundred and seven” he sighed as he looked at the piece of paper he was given with his room number, with his bag on his shoulder, a suitcase in the other hand he trailed through what seemed, never-ending corridors of the dorm.

He soon found some stairs to take him to the second floor.

Can’t wait to just get settled in. All this travelling had made me hungry.

He begrudgingly carried his luggage to the assigned room and stopped outside 207, bringing his suitcase to a half, resting his bag on the top of it, he sighed and knocked on the door.
